CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES

Over the past four decades, we have developed considerable expertise of operating in virtually every type of marine civil engineering environment, often in the most unusual or exacting conditions.

Whatever is possible underwater – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – our experienced teams can handle it, from major construction or refurbishment projects on tidal lock gates and docks, to regular maintenance, cleaning and emergency work within industrial complexes. We also carry out environmental protection work on bubble barriers in addition to servicing and repair of in-river buoys, pontoons and dolphins.

COMMERCIAL SERVICES

With several teams of highly experienced, fully certificated, divers on our roster, we have the capability to handle jobs of any size, anywhere in the UK and around the globe.

Our underwater expertise has been put to good use in the non-maritime commercial sector, most notably employed by the international film and television industry to provide safety back-up for water-related stunt work. The Salvesen (UK) team has worked with many of the industry’s leading stunt specialists with movie and TV credits including:

Salvesen is also highly experienced in accident recovery, working closely with the emergency services and accident investigation teams including the UK Government Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB).
